What a beautiful weekend in southern Alberta. I logged about 300km Saturday and Sunday.

Bacon Buffet of Pain & Suffering – Sport – 4th place
TransStony Superhero 6 Hour Enduro Challenge – Solo – 14th :O (10laps)
I had a bit of a crash on my 7th lap. Leaned into a corner a little to deep and my rear wheel hit a patch of loose leaves and out she went from under me. Tore my knee open and banged up my side. The last 3 laps were kinda slow and painful after that. I opted to get first aid at 5:11 into the 6 hours. Probably a wise descision. I butterfly stitched the flapping flesh and all seems to be healing well. I’m sore all over though. It was a super fun weekend all around!

| 100% Electric, the ZENN doesn’t use any gasoline. A gallon of gas has an energy equivalent of 33.5kwh3. One gallon of gas provides the same energy as fully charging the ZENN about 7 times. This is an equivalent fuel economy of 7 x 40 miles = 280 mpg. (3National Association of Fleet Administrators, www.nafa.org) |
Estimated annual fuel cost $210 (calculated at 40 miles/day & 10.3¢ kwh residential electrical rate) .Actual mileage will vary with the options, driving conditions, temperature, driving habits and vehicle’s condition |
2The ZENN is designed for urban transportation and has a regulated maximum speed. It is not approved for highway use.For comparison shopping, 2008 small vehicles are rated at 29 mpg or less (city); 2008 hybrid small car at 40 mpg (city). Source: US DOE, www.fueleconomy.gov |
