It’s a strange thing when a impotent video card takes down an entire computer system…bugger
Just got a flyer from Telus in the mail. The primary language on the flyer is Chinese, secondary is English…what happened to French?
What a great event. Great organization, great course’s, great vibe. Excellent all round. Not to mention some pretty good results, but even without those it was still a great time and a wonderful way to spend an entire Saturday. I even got to see a Grizzly (actually 2 of them) about 300 yards off of the ITT course. Amazing to spectacle and much respect. Banff is definitely wild and beautiful country.
Cat4 – ITT – 2nd
30:49:95 for the 21km course. That’s 41kph average!…PB

This post is a little late as it was quite an uneventful event. I was bagged from the ITT on Saturday so I decided to take it pretty easy for the Iron lung race in Canmore. Start was early. Air was crisp and cold. Course was in excellent shape and well designed. I had a great time just being out in Canmore and getting to ride this course. It was super fun and had some great technical bits.
Sport – 16th place
Yeah a crappy placing but I had a real fun time so I give it a big fat smiley face.
Cat 4 – 30km ITT – 6th place
The “Race the Ring” 30km ITT went off this Saturday without a hitch. The weather was ripe with rain, snow, hail, and sun in regular Calgary style. “Chapeau” to all the volunteers who braved the weather and helped make this event a real success.
